I think this is the only place I've ever hated so much that I actually wrote a google review of it. Here in all its glory "That was pretty poor. The qr code on the table led to a dead link and when we eventually downloaded the app it didn't work either - just went in circles asking for our location. I had an all-day brunch which was sort of lukewarm but edible. Could have done with some toast and jam though. My daughters panini was like chewing cardboard and the cheese it was supposed to contain was impossible to find. Wouldn't come back."

This, btw, was during lockdown and none of the other eating places at EDI were open.

I discovered this pub a couple of weeks ago. We were in Starbucks opposite which included my husband standing in a coffee queue for twenty minutes!

I needed the loo, and I assumed the giant pub opposite would oblige. Nope. After wandering around to each dark corner I found a sign that helpfully told me the nearest toilets are at gates 7 and 12!! I had always thought pubs legally had to have toilets for their customers. Presumably they get away with it because there are toilets fairly nearby. Or maybe no one has challenged them?!

Anyway I agree with you that this enormous pub is a weird experience.

Maybe should take a flight just to experience. Sounds challenging on many levels.

One small advantage if you are flying BA is that it's directly opposite their boarding gate which means you can keep an eye on the queue for the plane.
